Our Vision
At By His Spirit Styling Co., our vision is simple: to help you walk confidently in God's image—inside and out—even through fashion. We believe:
- True beauty starts by reflecting God's image, not just wearing cute clothes.
- Fashion should never break the bank.
- You can be stylish and God-honoring at the same time.
- Every woman's beauty is defined by God's standards, not the world's.

Fashion is more than what you wear; it's about walking boldly in who God created you to be.
From a young age, I loved fashion. I dreamed of designing my own clothing line called "Paradise," sketching outfits covered in little dice and stars. But instead of pursuing that dream, I chose a more "socially acceptable" path, earning a degree and working in retail after graduation.
Growing up, I struggled deeply with low self-esteem, constantly trying to look more socially acceptable. Everything changed in 2015 when God delivered me from that identity crisis and filled me with the Holy Ghost. Two years later, in 2017, He anointed me to create my first T-shirt line, Starve the Flesh, Feed the Spirit, with Not of This World becoming my most popular design.
God made it clear that this was just the beginning. As I grew, I realized there weren't many Black Christian women in the fashion industry representing modest, chic style. Instead, Black women were often pressured to dress provocatively. In 2022, God birthed the vision for By His Spirit—a mission to help Black women dress modestly, chic, and confidently, all on a budget. We don't have to show it all to be beautiful or confident.
My love for thrifting grew while working in retail, especially in thrift stores, where I was promoted to several leadership positions. What started as merchandising quickly blossomed into a passion for personal styling. Eventually, God pulled me away from the traditional 9–5 to expand the vision He gave me.
Today, my goal is simple: to help women dress modestly chic without breaking the bank—and to overcome the confidence struggles I once faced myself.
